Pakistan (PTA) Released of New Type Approval Technical Standard Regulations
Effective December 15, 2018
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) released an updated type approval technical standards regulations in The Gazette of Pakistan.
- Additional scopes of products required mandatory approval in Pakistan:
RFID, SRD (inclusive of Bluetooth and NFC) IOT devices, M2M products and etc.
- Item that exempted from type approval /NOC as below

The products in the list are exempted but if an applicant who wants to get the approval before shipping the devise to Pakistan, it is possible to get an exemption letter from PTA or do a voluntary certifications.
