The National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) of Morocco has revised the decision on Technical Specification related to the use of Short Range Devices (SRD). The new Decision ANRT/DG/N°07/2021 dated May 07, 2021 replaces the Decision ANRT/DG/N°07/2020. The Annex to Decision ANRT/DG/N° 07/2020 of 3 Kaada 1441 (June 25, 2020) is also replaced by Annexes 1 to 14 attached to the Decision ANRT/DG/N°07/2021.

The technical requirements have been revised as follows:

1. Annex 5 “Local Radio Networks” is supplemented by the Wi-Fi 6E technology

• ‍5925-6425 MHz, 200mW EIRP – This band is intended for indoor use only. Use inside vehicles/rolling stock is not allowed.
• 5925-6425 MHz, 25mW EIRP – This band can also be used by portable devices (smartphones, connected objects etc.) for indoor and/or outdoor use. These uses are not permitted in unmanned flying devices.

‍2. Annex 11 “Radiodetermination and Motion Detection Devices” extends the scope of the use in the following frequency band.
