The government in Mexico extended the quarantine until May 30, although certain regions may re-open prior to the official end date. We are waiting for an official announcement from IFT regarding the status of their operations during the quarantine. IFT has confirmed that certificates with expiration dates in April or May 2020 will be considered valid, however applications for renewal must be submitted on June 1, after the quarantine is officially lifted. Cert Bodies like NYCE and ANCE are still operating and accepting applications and urging for online submission. Test labs are also operating with limited staff.
