Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that employees in the private and public sectors at the management and supervisory levels, in areas under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) have been instructed to work from home starting October 22, 2020 due to Covid-19 situation.

Areas affected are Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor, Labuan and Sabah. This includes all government bodies and SIRIM.

SIRIM officers will be requested to work from home until further notice.

All certifications are slightly affected especially those require samples or onsite audit.

Testing services still continue but with minimum staffs so delays are expected.
