The use of the 6 GHz frequency band for Wi-Fi is currently being reviewed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. Certification of 6 GHz frequency band for Wi-Fi is not permitted at this time.

Applicants looking to gain certification for Wi-Fi devices should ensure that 6 GHz frequency band is disabled in the device. These devices may be subject to verification testing at a SIRIM laboratory.
