Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has updated SRD technical specifications in Technical Code MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2020.

ITE industry

• Major impact on Wireless Microphone
• Inductive devices / WPC are in the product control list
• LORA/Sigfox between 916-924 MHz must fulfil the requirements same as Class Assignment requirement

Automotive industry

• Automotive radar is in the product control list, and follows Class Assignment

Medical Industry

• New frequency bands have been added for active medical implant device

• 9kHz- 315kHz and 402MHz – 406MHz

Ultra wideband  

• The new requirements for Ultra Wide band according to Class assignment 2017/2019
• Ultra wide band will be used for imaging, medical and others

• Safety and EMC requirements are needed for devices that can be directly connected to the service provider’s network
