Indonesia (SNI) - Mandatory Requirement For Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules
Indonesia Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issued the Circular PERMEN ESDM No 2 Tahun 2021 on January 5, 2021.
This Circular is to mandate SNI requirements for crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules. The circular is mandated from January 7, 2021. All crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules will need to be SNI certified under this Circular.
It also mentioned that there will be a 12 months grace period for all the crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules importer to comply with the SNI. All crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules will need to comply with SNI requirement by January 7, 2022.
