Ministry of Industry of Indonesia had announced the provisions and procedures for calculating the value of Domestic Component Level of Electronic and Telematic Products on August 18, 2020.

The requirement is particularly for electronics product and telematic products. This is an indicator that Indonesia will want to control the usage of local component level for electronics product and telematic products in the near future.

All manufacturers are advised to plan in advance if this rule is implemented.
