On May 24, 2022, the Department of Telecommunication issued a notification that exempts the following categories of equipment from prior mandatory testing and certification:

1. Mobile user equipment / mobile handset.
2. Server.
3. Smart watch.
4. Smart camera.
5. Point-of-Sale devices.
