Egypt - Ministerial Decree No.58/2022 - Energy Efficiency of Electric Lamps
Ministerial Decree No.58/20221 provides an extension to the compliance deadline for the Egyptian Standard (ES) 7823/2020 (mandated by the first article of Ministerial Decree No. 171/2020) for a year or until the completion of the modification of ES 7823/2020, whichever occurs first. ES 7823/2014 will continue to be in force.
NB: ES 7823/2020 is technically identical with modification of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 874/2012 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 1194/2012.
