Effective October 17, 2019 

The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) published the announcement No. 44, 2019 regarding CCC Certification regulation changes.

The announcement stated the following changes:

• Additional 18 categories are removed from CCC scope
• Total 17 categories changed from certification to self-declaration
• Self-declaration implementation rules have changed. Previously, applicant could choose either certification or self-declaration for products falling into self-declaration scheme. Now applicant can only do self-declaration. All the existing CCC certificates under self-declaration category will be cancelled on November 1, 2020. Local representative has to register at CNCA to get self-declaration paper before October 31, 2019
• YD/T993 standards will be removed from mandatory CCC standards
