Brazil (ANATEL) - Resolution nº 726
Effective September 1, 2020
ANATEL released the new Resolution 726 on May 5, 2020. This resolution will become in force after September 1st. It replaces the restricted bands defined in the Table I of Res. 680/2017. The main change is related to the WI-FI 6E frequency range (5.9 GHz to 7.1 GHz) forbidden in Brazil before. Also, this new resolution allows using the range of 5.850–5.925 GHz for 802.11p (V2X), 57-71 GHz for 802.11ad, and 76 – 81 GHz for radar systems.
