National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) published three new Acts recently.

Act 3481: Technical requirements and test procedures for the assessment of the compliance of chargers used with mobile phone. This act revokes Act 493.

Act 3482: Guidelines for supplying the ANATEL approval security seal (Mint Label) for lithium batteries and chargers used in mobile phones. This Act revokes the Official Letter IG 10. Mint label (security seal) was kept as mandatory for mobile phone chargers and batteries. Label design, characteristics and material remain the same.

Act 3448: Technical requirements for the assessment of conformity for the Base Radio Station (BRS). This Act includes the requirements for BRS using AAS Technology (Active Antenna System).
