The National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) issued an updated official letter 157/2020 clarifying that the test report and photo waiver for renewal applications only impacts certificates that expire during the period of March 6, 2020 – June 30, 2020. Certificates with expiration dates prior to March 6, 2020, or after June 30, 2020 may still require applicable local testing and updated photos to complete the ANATEL renewal process.
