Argentina (ENACOM) Resolution Update 793/2019
Effective February 13, 2019
ENACOM issued resolution 793/2019 updating the cellular standard ENACOM-Q2-61.03.
Currently, no labs are authorized by ENACOM to perform cellular testing in Argentina. ENACOM has been accepting foreign reports FCC, ANATEL, IFT, etc. While the cellular bands are available in Argentina, they may be not available in other major countries. ENACOM has decided to allow Declarations of Conformity referencing compliance with the ENACOM-Q2-61.03.
In this resolution ENACOM added the options:
- To approve products in Argentina using frequencies not allocated by FCC/ANATEL/IFT or similar, ENACOM will accept a Declaration of Conformity referencing compliance with ENACOM-Q2-61.03 standard. This option will be available until at least two local labs get authorization to test these frequencies.
- For those frequencies tested by FCC/ANATEL/IFT or similar, the procedure will be the same.
Renewals of applications done under the conditions established in the preceding Article, the test reports issued by an ENACOM accredited lab must be provided.
