CAN/CSA-C22.2 NO. 60601-2-47-03 (R2012)

This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-2-47, Medical electrical equipment - Part 2-47: Particular requirements for the safety, including essential performance, of ambulatory electrocardiographic systems, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled CEI/IEC (Commission Électrotechnique Internationale/International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60601-2-47 (first edition, 2001-07).

INTRODUCTION

This Particular Standard concerns the safety of AMBULATORY ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHIC SYSTEMS. It amends and supplements IEC 60601-1 (second edition 1988): Medical electrical equipment - Part 1: General requirements for safety, as amended by its amendment 1 (1991) and its amendment 2 (1995), hereinafter referred to as the General Standard. The requirements of this Particular Standard take priority over those of the General Standard.

Ce document constitue la première édition de la CAN/CSA-C22.2 nº 60601-2-47, Appareils électromédicaux - Partie 2-47 : Règles particulières de sécurité et performances essentielles des systèmes d'électrocardiographie ambulatoires. II s'agit de l'adoption, sans modifications, de la norme CEI/IEC (Commission Électrotechnique Internationale/International Electrotechnical Commission) 60601-2-47 (première édition, 2001-07), qui porte le même titre.

INTRODUCTION

La présente Norme Particulière concerne la sécurité des SYSTÈMES ÉLECTROCARDIOGRAPHIQUES AMBULATOIRES. Elle modifie et complète la CEI 60601-1 (deuxième édition 1988): Appareils électromédicaux - Partie 1: Règles générales de sécurité, modifiée par son amendement 1 (1991) et son amendement 2 (1995), appelée Norme Générale dans la présente Norme. Les exigences de la présente Norme Particulière priment sur celles de la Norme Générale.
