Scope

His addenda contains revisions to the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume II, Type 2 Clothes Dryers, Z21.5.2-1998/CSA 7.2-M98, and Addenda Z21.5.2a-1999/CSA 7.2-M99. The standard applies to type 2 clothes dryers for use with natural gas, manufactured gas, mixed gas, liquefied petroleum (propane) gases and LP gas-air mixtures. These appliances are primarily used in a multiple family business and/or public environment. These appliances may or may not be operated by public or hired attendants. May or may not be coin-operated and are not designed for use in an individual family living environment.
