Scope
1.1
This Standard applies to the construction and performance of new propane fuel system components that provide motive power to highway vehicles with internal combustion engines.
1.2
This Standard does not apply to stationary or non-highway applications.
1.3
This Standard does not apply to propane fuel system components incorporated during the manufacture of motor vehicles originally produced in compliance with federal Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Fuel System Integrity Requirements).
1.4
This Standard contains SI (metric) equivalents to the yard/pound units so that the Standard may be used in SI (metric) units. If a value for a measurement in this Standard is followed by an equivalent value in other units, the first value stated is to be regarded as the requirement. The equivalent value may be approximate.
