Scope
1.1
This Standard applies to fuseholder assemblies, rejectors for Type C fuses, adapters for Type S fuses, and the current- carrying parts pertaining thereto and mounted on bases of suitable insulating material, designed to be employed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
1.2
Fuse holder assemblies covered by this Standard are intended to accept only the following fuses: (a) plug fuses, including Type S fuses, not exceeding 30 A and 125 V and conforming to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 59, Fuses (Both Plug and Cartridge-Enclosed Types); (b) cartridge fuses not exceeding 600 A and 600 V and conforming to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 59, Fuses (Both Plug and Cartridge- Enclosed Types); and (c) HRC fuses not exceeding 6000 A and 600 V and conforming to CSA Standard C22.2 No. 106, HRC Fuses (Low-Voltage Power Fuses).

This Standard also applies to the construction of contact members which are used as integral parts of fusible devices or equipment covered by other Part II Standards (see Clause 3.3).
