2025 CSA Group Annual Conference and Committee Week

Each year, CSA Group Annual Conference and Committee Week brings together our volunteer members, experts representing industry, government, and academia, and CSA Group team to celebrate the value of standards and their positive impact on the health, safety, and well-being of people in Canada and beyond.

The 2025 CSA Group Annual Conference and Committee Week will be held in beautiful Ottawa from June 9 to 13. We hope you can join us in Canada’s vibrant capital where history, cutting edge innovation and natural beauty unite to spark a week of creativity and curiosity. The conference agenda is jam-packed with important committee meetings, inspiring keynotes and presentations, networking opportunities, and social events acknowledging the important work we do together to hold the future to a higher standard.

The Westin Ottawa will be host to our Conference event and all committee meetings this year.

The 2025 Annual Conference & Committee Week will be held June 9-13 at The Westin Ottawa

You have two options for registration this year. Select the one that best describes your attendance plans. You can register a guest under either option.

  1. Annual Conference & Committee Week – select this if you are attending any conference events scheduled on Monday & Tuesday, and might also be attending committee meetings:

CSA Group Committee Members:

Includes conference program events, networking events, and meal functions as outlined in the conference program.

Non-Members

(this is anyone who does not currently sit as a member on a CSA Group standards development committee).

  • $450 + HST until May 1, 2025
  • $600 + HST after May 1, 2025

Companions

(this is a guest of a full registered attendee).

Fees include Monday’s Luncheon, Keynote and Welcome Reception, and Tuesday’s meals and Member Appreciation Night.

Chantal Hébert

Political Raconteur | Columnist

Chantal Hébert is a political columnist whose work appears in The Toronto Star and the magazine, L’Actualité. She is also a weekly participant on CBC The National’s political panel “At Issue”. A prolific journalist who is passionate about Canadian politics ― particularly in relation to Quebec ― Hébert speaks with authority and passion on public policy and other matters of national importance. 

Hébert began her career in Toronto as a reporter for the regional newsroom of Radio-Canada in 1975 before moving on to Parliament Hill for Radio-Canada. She has served as parliamentary bureau chief for Le Devoir and La Presse

Currently a Senior Fellow of Massey College at the University of Toronto, Hébert holds honorary degrees from a dozen Canadian Universities and is a graduate of Glendon College at York University. She is a recipient of two Asia-Pacific media fellowships (Malaysia and Japan) and was awarded the APEX Public Service Award in 2005, the Hyman Solomon award for excellence in journalism and public policy in 2006, and York University’s Pinnacle Achievement Bryden Alumni award. In 2012, Hébert was appointed to the Order of Canada and in 2019, her peers in the Parliamentary Press Gallery awarded her the Charles Lynch award for her longstanding coverage of national issues. 

Hébert is the author of two books: French Kiss: Stephen Harper’s Blind Date with Quebec, and her most recent book, The Morning After: The 1995 Quebec Referendum And The Day That Almost Was.
