The breakout room discussions focused on how operational and design aspects of long-term care —including approaches to infection prevention and control (IPAC)— can be more inclusive of the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

 

 

The following themes emerged from the consultation:

  • Equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Policies and procedures
  • Training and education
  • Bedroom and bathroom design
  • Environmental design
  • Technology
