Aging populations continue to be a major concern for governments and health care systems around the world. The use of Active Assisted Living technology (concepts, products, services and systems combining technologies and social environment) is one possible solution in enabling independent living and enhancing quality of life, though Canada is slower to deploy large-scale solution platforms compared to other countries.
