This report summarizes the findings of a detailed literature review on the topic and the feedback received from a diverse group of stakeholders from a one-day workshop. The report explores the role of standards in ambulance and equipment design to help reduce the risk of infections by looking at major considerations such as spatial layout, storage of personal protective equipment, environmental cleaning, and paramedic training and education.
