In cooperation with CSA International, Proctor-Silex Canada, Inc. of Markham, Ontario has announced a voluntary recall of juice extractor Model C67207, type CJ04. The company has reported that the juice extractor’s strainer basket and lid can break apart, posing a potential risk of injury.

Approximately 100,000 units were produced between 1992 and 1995. They were sold through discount and department stores across Canada. The company has received reports of injuries involving this juice extractor.

Consumers owning a Proctor-Silex juice extractor, Model C67207, type CJ04, should stop using it immediately. The model number is molded on the bottom of the unit.
