This recall involves MAGI Decor brand white indoor string lights. The affected product consists of 100 white miniature lights on a white wire and measures 2.1 meters (7 feet) long. Consumers are able to locate model number ZHCA100BX/2SI and CSA certification file number 263917 on the self-adhesive tags affixed to the product’s wire, as well as item number 590396 and UPC 884118246440 on the product’s packaging.

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the seasonal lights may pose a fire and electric shock hazard to consumers.
Neither Health Canada nor Jean Coutu Group (PJC) Inc. has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
