CSA Group Warns of Battery Chargers with Unauthorized CSA Group Certification Marks

CSA Group, a leading product testing and certification organization, is notifying consumers and retailers that certain Interacter Inc. brand battery chargers display an unauthorized CSA Group Certification Mark and/or file number.

The affected units are “Professional Series” models and “Lineage Series” models.  CSA Group cannot confirm that these units have been tested and evaluated to the applicable standard for safety and performance for Canada or the United States.

There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury. The identified units were found for sale online on various websites and in stores in Ontario, Canada.

Consumers with the affected models are advised to immediately discontinue use of the product and to contact their retailer, point-of-sale or the distributor.

Name of Product: Battery Chargers: Professional Series Model and Lineage Series Models.

Manufacturer: Interacter Inc., 10 Beaumont Rd. A Wallingford, CT. 06492

Identification: The products display an unauthorized CSA Group Certification Mark and/or CSA File number 92516 on the unit label as shown in the attached photos.
