CSA Group, a leading product testing and certification organization is notifying consumers and retailers that Loblaw Companies Limited has voluntarily recalled Tera Gear anywhere tabletop grill, 11,000 BTU, propane gas grills bearing unauthorized CSA certification marks. These affected products were not tested or certified by CSA Group.

An investigation has determined the grill operating temperatures pose a potential risk of fire when used above combustible surfaces. CSA Group and Loblaw Companies Limited are not aware of any incidents of injury or fire involving this grill. Consumers should immediately stop using this recalled product and return to any of the Loblaw banner stores listed below.

Manufactured by Shinerich Industrial Ltd., Shenzhen, Guangdong China, approximately 600 grills have been sold by select Loblaw banner stores in Canada including:

Affected units were sold between March 4, 2012 to May 11, 2012.
