CSA Group Warns of Battery Units with Unauthorized CSA Group Certification Marks

CSA Group, a leading standards development organization and global provider of testing and certification services, is notifying consumers and retailers that certain Digital Signal Power Manufacturing (DSPM Inc.) brand Battery Packs display unauthorized CSA Group US and Canada Certification Marks and/or file numbers.

The affected units are “Defender 3” Models.  These battery units have not been tested and evaluated by CSA Group to the applicable standard for safety and performance for Canada or the USA.

There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury. The identified units were found in  the state of Nevada,USA and for sale online at www.dspmanufacturing.com.

Consumers with the affected models are advised to immediately discontinue use of the product and to contact their retailer, point-of-sale or the distributor.

Identification: The products display unauthorized CSA Certification Marks on the packaging and/or on the unit label as shown in the attached photos.
