CSA standards help reduce work-related injuries and fatalities.
In 2005, 1,097 Canadian workers died on the job. In September
2006, CSA officially launched the Z1000 Occupational Health and
Safety Management System standard, with a specific goal of helping
to reduce the number of workplace injuries and deaths in Canada.
