When you become a CSA Group member, you support and shape the standards that matter to you and your industry. At the same time, you stay informed on global standardization efforts that apply to your organization or industry, while collaborating and networking with other CSA Group members representing a wide range of perspectives.
To get involved, you can apply to join as a committee member or you can contribute as a consumer representative.
Committee members: our most valuable resource
As a committee member, you contribute by volunteering your time, knowledge and experience to our technical committees. You work with our project managers to develop standards that meet the needs of people and business, and in return gain valuable experience you can bring back to your organization, or use to further your professional development. You also gain the satisfaction of making an important contribution to safety, social good and sustainability.

Becoming a committee member starts by getting involved in one of our CSA Communities Here, you can discover, explore, share and communicate with others who share your interests, and learn about our standards development programs. Consumer representatives volunteer their time to provide input to standards development activities at CSA Group. Your participation as a consumer representative helps ensure that standards reflect the needs of consumers and end users of products and services, and contributes to our overall goal of promoting social good.
